Particularly good and stunning location, luxurious bathroom.
Beautiful and pleasant hotel in the traditional style. Welcoming service, very NICE staff during stay. Exceptionally comfortable bed in guest room with central heating and a multi-channel TV. Location very close to nature and sports, Gottenheim and Freiburg im Breisgau. Also, in the black forest.

Can just recommend this hotel, our stay was very very good. 2. It is a wonderful and unusual place - 5 minutes' walk to the downtown. 3. the breakfast is delicious with meats and Bacon & Eggs, as an example, has everything you need. 4. the location is comfortable. 5. the staff are very helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a unique and delightful place just a short stroll from downtown. the breakfast is scrumptious, offering a variety of options including meats, Bacon & Eggs, and more. the location is convenient, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating.

We arrived to find that they had lost our reservation. I even called the day before to confirm that we would arrive late. We were accommodated in a maid's chamber that stank of smoke and was uncomfortable. In the end, we were given a small discount. I would have preferred to pay more for a good night's sleep.

A very nice, traditional type German hotel off the beaten track! We needed a quiet place to stay for one night and this fit the bill perfectly. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable with a charming balcony overlooking a small stream. The hotel is in a small village with a very good local Gasthaus about 100 meters up the road - great food and beer! Owners were friendly and put out a very nice Continental breakfast in the morning. Ample parking at the hotel and a very short drive to Baden-Baden which has great shopping, history and hot-spring spas. Great email correspondence prior to arrival to confirm booking. Good experience.
Our room was on the third floor although the hotel appeared to be mostly empty so climbing three flights of stairs with luggage was a bit cumbersome. The restaurant in the hotel was closed the night we were there for a private party but their menu looked good. The shower was very small but exceptionally clean!

Large and clean rooms, hotel had a beautiful interior and exterior. Friendly and helpful staff (particularly with my poor attempts at German). Definitely one of our favorite places we stayed while on a two week trip through Germany and Austria. Add in great food and it was by far the best value for the $$ we found anywhere.
Hotel was a bit more off the beaten path than I had thought. Village is very small with not a lot to do outside of the hotel itself that the playground down the street. That said, the a5 was only a few minutes away.

Lovely spot to stay at. the rooms are super clean and modern, plus you get your own bathroom. Tons of tasty food choices available. It's located in a peaceful area, with the bonus of being near the highway if you need it. 🌿

This is a little out of the way unless you have a vehicle and gps. Once you find it it is great. The food, people and location are perfect for a number of day trips.
